Some of you may know that I have had my hand within the medical field for numerous years now from technology to pharmacology. What you may not know is some of the areas and items within does not match with my personal beliefs. Sure, if you break an arm or have a bullet hole rush to the hospital for acute trauma care. If you have a tumor or other major condition you probably also need prompt medical care.

Yet I do not think that all human-based medicine is worth its weight in gold. Problem is human doctors treat symptoms. There might be a little preventable advice for us yet as we all know we go to the doctor or clinic when we feel sick.

However the Great Physician does not just treat symptoms (like forgiveness, mercy, grace), He heals and He sure does holistically.

Not just acute care but also prevention as well as long term. He heals our broken hearts, helps us escape the bondage of sun from our past and gives us hope and a place with Him for our future.

Talk about perfect palliative and curative care.

He cares for us know with our disease of sin by carrying us through the valleys.

He cares for us tomorrow and into the future with Heaven in sight when all healing will be manifest.

And He is in the perfect place and condition with the perfect set of skills and traits. He meets us where and when we need for what we need.

So today if you are facing the bottom of the valley of pain, stress, a struggle or addiction or a tough decision to come for yourself or a loved one – please remember that Jesus came to heal the sick.

We are that sick. He is our Great Physician and we are in good hands.

The best hands.
